Entre la Terre et le Ciel
Between Earth and Sky is an exhibition created in partnership with Cabris et Culture to commemorate European Heritage Day and honor the legacy of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, inside the atemporal Chapelle Sainte Marguerite. This initiative shines a light on the cultural influence of the women who shaped his life—his mother, Marie de Saint-Exupéry, a resident of Cabris, and his wife, Consuelo de Suncin, who lived in Grasse.
The exhibition celebrates their impact on the writer by weaving together art and literature to tell their stories and deepen our connection to the region’s heritage. Through this exhibition, I aimed to illuminate the profound bond between Saint-Exupéry’s creative world and the women who inspired it.
A key feature of the event was a series of participatory workshops for children, where they explored artistic techniques like watercolor, collage, and drawing. These workshops encouraged young minds to connect with the literary works of Saint-Exupéry and Consuelo, fostering creativity and a deeper appreciation for the cultural history of our region.
